Basic Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, plan, design, and manage building projects for clients, leveraging expertise in architectural design, construction detailing, building procedures, codes, materials, and systems.
• Develop conceptual plans, renderings, and design documents using Revit software.
• Organize project layouts and coordinate the integration of engineering components into a cohesive design for client review and approval.

Pima County’s Project Design and Construction Department is looking to fill the role of Architect within our New Buildings Division. This position will manage large, complex building projects under the Pima County Capital Improvement Program. As a Project Design Technology Lead, your focus will be on leading the adoption, implementation, and advancement of BIM and Computational Design within the project environment. What You Will Do

• Lead the implementation, management, and execution of BIM/Computational Design on projects throughout all phases of the design process.
• Recognize the degree and complexity of a project and apply the right design technology strategy to optimize project performance, as well as support and integrate a lean project delivery framework.
• Identify workflows, tools, and efficiencies that will bring value-proposition to our projects.
