Essential Duties
- You get to have personal interactions with EVERYONE through building and maintaining meaningful and authentic relationships. We’re a little old school that communication is key: in person is best, phone/text is next and written correspondence is for record keeping.

- Your opinion counts – so give it! Have an opinion with creative solutions, and also be ready to follow directions.

- Be dependable for all deadlines you set for yourself or may be given. You’ll have to manage feasibility studies, schematic designs, working drawings and project manual/ specifications production for your projects.
- Details matter! You’ll be responsible to provide strong technical detailing skills in a variety of construction materials and building types.
- Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork! It sometimes feels like it takes a village to complete some of the work we need to. For some projects, you’re the quarterback in charge of coordinating information, managing consultants, delegating work assignments, and setting schedules/deadlines.
- You set the stage for a successful project by meeting on-site with clients and/or consultants to perform existing condition site investigations, including building measurements, surrounding site documentation such as ADA compliance, observation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, observation, and documentation of structural systems.
- You make sure it all gets done! Most of our work requires submittal to jurisdictional agencies. Each one has its own rules and regs – you make sure we get our work done the way they want to see it!
- See your projects through completion. That’s right. Your project is yours from start to finish. You’ll get to work with the contractors by answering RFIs, reviewing submittals and issuing revisions during the construction phase. Occasionally, you’ll be required to travel to site to perform construction observation.
- Show the world who we are, what we’re about, how relationships matter and why we believe we’re different. You’ll get to represent Camber and True Collective by actively participating in professional organizations and social functions.
Job Type
- Part to Full-time
- Salary: $75,000-$100,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- This is an in-office position. Hybrid possible after 90 days and prior approval of the Principal
