Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience working on all phases of architectural projects

Your Role

What You Will Do

General Overview 

• Work closely with your internal clients – accounting team members, project accountants, finance leadership, and Gensler’s staff
• Enter trade vendor invoices
• Enter and report daily cash received via lockbox, ACH/wires and live checks
• Other reporting, tasks, and special projects to be assigned as needed

Payables

• Accurately code & enter vendor and consultant invoices into Deltek Vision
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and handle vendor inquiries
• Review and reconcile Open AP Vouchers
• Process wires and ACH payments

Expense Reports 

• Audit expense reports weekly
• Ensure employee expense reports meet company’s guidelines
• Manage submitted expense reports in Deltek Vision to ensure reports are being   reimbursed within 30-days of submission date
• Handle employee inquiries concerning expenses and expense advances
• Conduct expense report training for new hires

Timesheet Administration 

• Send weekly reminders to staff to enter their hours into Deltek Vision
• Review timesheets to ensure hours and project numbers are entered appropriately
• Resolve timesheet discrepancies, which include manual labor transfers, missing comments & approval signatures
• Enter manual timesheets into Deltek Vision
• Conduct timesheet training for new hires
• Generate & review labor detail reports for overhead and marketing job numbers
• Cash Receipt Transactions – Enter and report daily cash received via lockbox, ACH/wires and live checks
• Handle cash receipt adjustments entries
• Work with Project Accountants on entering bad debt transactions
• Identify short & overpayments, and work with Project Accountants to resolve
• Review the AR aging report weekly to reconcile payment balances

Your Role

A Design Manager at Gensler works with autonomy to be responsible for execution of a variety of project types and sizes and will lead all phases of projects. We are seeking a Design Technology Manager with in-depth knowledge of the entire design and construction process and a strong sense of innovation to support our Design Technology Leadership in managing a high level, world-class game changing project that will redefine patient care. The Design Technology Manager should exemplify leadership through a diverse portfolio of large-scale collaborative projects, experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Big Room concept, as well as the proven ability to work with large project teams.

The Design Technology Manager is a multifaceted role that provides project technical leadership, strategic vision and deep tactical expertise in the design technology and digital project delivery space.  As a Design Technology Manager, you will champion the strategy, implementation, and management of all aspects of a long-term, high-profile project delivery, acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, author of critical project related documents/standards, as well as upholding the highest level of design and execution of project.

What You Will Do

• Leadership and management in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and BIM Implementation / Execution on large complex projects.

Your Qualifications​

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent, with 10+ years of experience in design and/or construction practice preferred. Licensed professional preferred.
• 5 years of proven experience in complex project-specific parametric BIM workflow from start to finish in all phases of design and delivery.
• Expert knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit Architecture and related BIM software (Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud Workflow)
• Knowledge of design applications such as SketchUp, Rhino, Visual Programming (Dynamo / Grasshopper), Project Visualization tools, Generative Design tools and how they may best work together.

A typical and great day for you would be collaborating with the Principal, supporting, mentoring or teaching co-workers. You would be working to execute all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, and to lead detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. You will partner with consulting engineers or other vendors, by providing clear direction so that they are better equipped to complete their corporate mission.
