Project Architect

Michael Taylor Architects, Inc. (MTAI) is seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to spearhead the design and documentation of commercial buildings, from conceptualization to construction. As the project leader, you’ll seamlessly blend creativity with technical proficiency to realize client aspirations, and uphold exceptional standards throughout the entire project lifecycle. MTAI is located in Prescott AZ, and this position is to be in-house.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Architect, with minimum 5 years of Construction Document experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in task prioritization and effective management of multiple deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (LT), with the ability to design projects and generate comprehensive construction documents. Experience with Revit and Sketchup a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of industry standards and building codes.
- Intermediate proficiency in coordinating the design of civil, landscape, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction principles and techniques.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop conceptual site plans and space plans.
- Conduct thorough evaluation of design concepts, and provide recommendations for the most suitable design solutions that align with the client’s specific requirements.
- Conduct initial zoning and code analyses.
- Coordinate consultant design process.
- Prepare construction drawing documents.
- Assist in material selection and specifications.
- Thoroughly review drawings for quality.
- Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
Healthcare Planner/Architect (10+ Years Experience)
