• Being immediately responsive to the project demands to allow the GC to execute their contract smoothly and expeditiously

Under the direction of senior leadership, the Senior Director of Development and Construction Management is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of construction projects within the Valleywise Health healthcare system. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction and renovation projects to ensure they meet the healthcare system’s quality, safety, and compliance standards. The Senior Director of Development and Construction Management will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of functionality and design.

Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction development and management and demonstrate a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification/Licensure:
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are preferred.

- Must be able to read and work from construction documents.
- Must have excellent project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.

Construction Administration Project Manager

We are seeking a Construction Administration Project Manager to lead multiple projects at a time with limited supervision in our Phoenix office. The CA PM performs the architect’s roles and responsibilities from the start of the construction phase through project completion and turnover to the client. This position also works closely with the architectural studio during the design phase as a resource in construction detailing and best practices. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and able to multi-task with the ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution.
This role involves some site visits mostly in the metro area with potential out-of-state travel approximately 2 days a month which requires the candidate to be located in the Phoenix metro area.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in architecture construction documents and contract administration
- 3-5 years’ experience in Multifamily with concrete and wood frame construction
