Associate Architect

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Associate Architect position include:

  • Motivated, self-starter
  • Bachelors degree in architecture minimum
  • 5+ years of prior experience in a real AE work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of various architecture and engineering systems and components
  • Familiar with construction document requirements, research and permit processing, able to prepare working construction documents
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit for architectural design and documentation; knowledge with AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP and other software a plus
  • Performing specific portions of architectural or engineering assignments, developing design drawings, consulting with manufacturers, conduct project research, and evaluate materials and components
  • Receive and follow directions for project assignments
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Providing construction phase support, including administration, preparing sketches, submittal reviews, and assisting with other tasks
  • Create project renderings with software
  • U.S. citizenship required due to federal and government contracts.

 

Salary: compensation dependent upon experience.  Opportunity for performance based bonus
