We’re seeking an Architect in Training with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong Revit skills, hands-on experience with construction documents, and a passion for design excellence. You’ll collaborate closely with the firm’s partners and design team across all phases of project development — from concept design through construction.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and has had some experience as a Job Captain or is ready to move toward that responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop construction documents and assist in detailing for a variety of project types
- Collaborate with senior staff on design development and project execution
- Assist in coordinating with consultants, clients, contractors, and permitting authorities
- Support construction administration and attend site visits as needed
- Contribute to material research and detailing that balances innovation and practicality
- Participate in design charrettes and internal critiques
- Manage time and tasks effectively across multiple projects
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
- Experience producing construction documents (required)
- Some experience with construction detailing (required)
- Previous Job Captain experience preferred
- Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, and consultant coordination
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail and buildability
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- On path to licensure encouraged
Bonus Points For
- Experience with hospitality, mixed-use, or multifamily residential projects
- Fluency in Rhino, Enscape, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Graphic presentation skills for design reviews and client meetings
- Interest in sustainable design and certification processes (LEED, Passive House, etc.)
