Pima County’s Project Design and Construction Department is looking to fill the role of Architect within our New Buildings Division. This position will manage large, complex building projects under the Pima County Capital Improvement Program. Project management includes oversight of the project scope and budget, schedules, design consultants/contractor selection and contracts, public art, furnishings and equipment, etc. Projects range in budget from $1 million to $50 million from new buildings to large renovations and expansions to existing buildings. The diversity of project types is broad and includes office, law enforcement, corrections, medical, attractions, sports and recreation, libraries, animal care, judicial, and many others.
