RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and coordinate comprehensive construction documentation, including plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, specifications, and custom millwork.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and specialty consultant information.
- Research, evaluate, specify, and document interior finishes, materials, fixtures, lighting, furniture, artwork, and FF&E.
- Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination, site visits, field observations, submittal reviews, RFIs, shop drawings, and punch list activities.
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, consultant coordination, documentation, and overall project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 6–8 years of professional design experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Revit, Rhino and Enscape.
- Solid understanding of construction documentation, detailing, building systems, materials, and construction practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and independent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working within a multidisciplinary team.
- NCIDQ certification or actively pursuing.
- Experience with FF&E documentation, specifications and procurement.

This position is primarily studio-based and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, reading, and verbal communication. Responsibilities may also include occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing step ladders, lifting and carrying material samples, finish boards, product binders, drawings, and project-related materials typically weighing up to 25 pounds. Periodic travel to project sites, vendor showrooms, client meetings, and construction sites may be required. The position requires close visual attention to drawings, material selections, color, and detailed design documentation.
