We’re seeking a Project Architect who can lead projects from concept through construction, collaborate across disciplines, and bring both creativity and precision to the table. You’ll work closely with the firm’s partners and design team to execute high-concept designs on a wide range of project types, with a focus on hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and documentation for multiple projects concurrently
- Develop architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and city agencies
- Oversee construction administration and site visits, ensuring design integrity is maintained
- Research materials, systems, and detailing appropriate for both high-design and budget-conscious projects
- Contribute to concept development and design critiques
- Guide and mentor junior staff
- Manage schedules and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Licensed Architect preferred (or on path to licensure)
- 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally including hospitality, commercial, or multifamily projects
- Strong design sensibility with an eye for contemporary, innovative architecture
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp (Rhino and Enscape a plus)
- Solid understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and detailing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for unconventional design and attention to the details that make it work
