Women in Architecture

Committees for Women in Architecture are active in both the AIA Phoenix Metro and the AIA Southern Arizona chapters. All members—Architects, Associates, and Allied members across all career stages and generations—are welcome to participate.

The AIA Phoenix Metro Women in Architecture committee’s mission is to promote, encourage, and progress the role of women within the architectural profession through fostering community, fellowship, and education. In Phoenix Metro, Women in Architecture holds monthly meetings.

Scenes from AIA Southern Arizona Women in Architecture + COTE Volunteer Group Activity with Tucson Clean & Beautiful!

AIA Southern Arizona’s Women in Architecture and Committee on the Environment (COTE) came together on Saturday, September 26, to volunteer with Tucson Clean & Beautiful and make a lasting impact on the built environment. Highlights from the AIA Phoenix Metro Women in Architecture Volunteer Group Activity at Feed My Starving Children!

Making an impact together! Our AIA Phoenix Metro members and Women in Architecture group came together to volunteer with Feed My Starving Children, packing meal boxes to help provide nutritious meals to children around the world and support the fight against global hunger. Our collective efforts resulted in 101 boxes packed, providing 21,816 meals and helping support 59 children with
