Fellows Representative, AIA Arizona
Patrick Panetta, FAIA, is an architect and Senior Campus Planner with SmithGroup in Phoenix. Prior to joining the firm in 2024 he spent over 20 years with Arizona State University in a variety of design, planning, project management and real estate development roles. Patrick has been an active member of the AIA holding a number of leadership positions, from the local chapter level to serving on the national AIA Board of Directors, and he enjoys advocating for the profession and mentoring emerging professionals. Patrick was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2019 and is currently serving on the AIA Arizona Board of Directors as the 2026 Chair-Elect of the AIA Arizona Fellows.
