Jason Boyer, FAIA

Fellows Representative, AIA Phoenix Metro

Jason Boyer, FAIA, is an architect, real estate developer, builder, and founder of Boyer Vertical in Phoenix. At age 35, he became Design Principal of a national architecture firm, a rare achievement in a field where the average principal age is 52. In 2012, he founded Jason Boyer Architects, later evolving it into Boyer Vertical, a design-led real estate development firm integrating architecture, development, and construction. His first project, the award-winning artHAUS condominiums, established his reputation for creating sustainable, architecturally significant spaces.

Boyer served on the AIA Arizona Board of Directors for four years, including as President, and was named an AIA Fellow in 2022, an honor held by just 4% of members nationally. He has taught at the ASU Design School and lectures for the Master of Real Estate Development program, inspiring a new generation of architect-developers drawn to his expertise.
