Alison Rainey, AIA, is a Principal at Shepley Bulfinch in Phoenix. An award-winning architect Alison leads the design of environments for living, learning, and well-being across the United States. Locally, she has shaped positive change through the design of housing, healing and academic environments, adaptive reuse, and mixed-use projects. The intersection of place, community, and impact drives her work. Alison fosters a collaborative working environment with her architectural colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and construction partners. Alison prioritizes a seamless program and design integration while remaining accountable to her clients for the success of each project.

As an engaged citizen, her volunteer work with the AIA, non-profits, and city and state-appointed steering committees extends her commitment to building bridges across various sectors for the benefit of our communities. She resides in Phoenix with her husband, son, and dog, where they enjoy home and building rehabilitations.
