About AIA Arizona
Welcome to the online home of AIA Arizona, the statewide component of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
AIA Arizona Mission
AIA Arizona is the voice of the architectural profession through the power of design, active participation of its members, and engagement with the greater public.
AIA Arizona Vision
AIA Arizona inspires, influences, and advances a broader understanding of the important role that architects play in enriching quality of life through the built environment.
Within Arizona, there are two AIA chapters: AIA Phoenix Metro and AIA Southern Arizona, as well as the AIA Grand Canyon Section. AIA Architects and Associates in Arizona are members of a chapter or section.
- AIA Phoenix Metro is among the 20 or so largest AIA chapters in the country. Those largest chapters are known within AIA as the Big Sibs.
- The AIA Southern Arizona chapter encompasses the Tucson area.
- The AIA Grand Canyon Section includes members who reside north of Phoenix, largely in Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona, and other northern Arizona communities.
AIA Arizona produces important statewide AIA programming, including the AIA Arizona State Conference and the AIA Arizona Awards Gala each autumn.
