Robin Shambach

Based in Tucson, Robin Shambach, AIA, is a principal of BWS Architects recognized for her firm leadership, project management, and construction technology expertise. Her work is founded in projects that engage and serve their communities: schools, libraries, community centers, public health, and higher education. AIA Arizona 2023 Fellows Chair Jack DeBartolo, FAIA, noted at the Awards Gala, “Robin is a true citizen architect: more concerned about our community than herself. With a class and focus that is unparalleled, she has dedicated her career to the constant and consistent support and development of the built environment and mentored many young architects. She has selflessly served the AIA in many capacities over the years.” Shambach was 2017 statewide president of AIA Arizona, and president of the AIA Southern Arizona chapter in 2007.
