Marana Vista Academy Tour

All are welcome to attend the AIA Southern Arizona tour of Marana Vista Academy in Tucson. Attendees will get an inside look at the adaptive reuse of a vacant medical center transformed into a high school featuring Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and personalized learning.

This project, designed by DLR Group, demonstrates how reactivating a dormant site can invigorate the surrounding neighborhood, with design strategies centered on flexibility and hands-on, career-focused education. The tour will highlight key planning, code, and construction considerations unique to repurposing healthcare facilities for educational use.

This tour is free for all AIA Members (Architect, Associate, Allied). Non-members can attend for $10. Please register in advance as space is limited.
