Balance & Acoustics: Designing for Well-being: An AIA Phoenix Metro Women in Architecture Wellness Event
All are welcome to join us for an evening dedicated to supporting wellness in the architecture profession through both movement and mindful design. Presented by AIA Phoenix Metro’s Women in Architecture this event brings together insights on creating healthier work environments with an opportunity to reset and recharge.
The program features a presentation by Jennifer Cella Williams of Zilenzio, exploring how acoustic products can minimize noise, enhance focus, and contribute to better mental health in the workplace. Attendees will also enjoy a tour of the Forward Tilt Showroom.
Following the presentation, Diane Jacobs, FAIA, will lead a gentle, beginner-friendly chair yoga and pranayama session. Designed to be approachable and accessible, this casual practice focuses on breathing techniques as the foundation of Asana—perfect for relieving stress and restoring balance during the workday. No need to change—come as you are in work attire.
Reconnect with your breath, your body, and your professional community in this thoughtful blend of wellness and design.
Free for all AIA Members (Architects, Associates, Allied) and $10 for Non-Members.
