Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) Committee

The AIA Phoenix Metro Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) Committee promotes, advocates, and creates opportunities for greater equity, diversity, and inclusivity in the practice of architecture. The primary goal of the committee is to help cultivate a sense of belonging. During the course of a year, the EDIB committee will hold meetings, social events, roundtable and panel discussions, and host speakers and storytelling events. All members—Architects, Associates, and Allied members—are welcome.

The American Institute of Architects, as part of the global community, champions a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the profession of architecture to create a better environment for all. Achieving this vision has a direct impact on the relevance of our profession and the world’s prosperity, health, and future.
