Advocating for the architecture profession starts with meaningful conversations and engagement with our elected leaders.
In the past month, AIA Arizona and its chapters hosted two state legislative forums, bringing architects and state legislators together to discuss issues shaping the future of our communities and the profession. From housing and water to infrastructure and development, these conversations reinforced the importance of ensuring architects have a voice in the decisions and policies that impact the built environment and recognizing architects as licensed professionals in Arizona.
See below for highlights from each event.
AIA Arizona and AIA Phoenix Metro hosted a state legislative forum at DLR Group in Phoenix on September 29 with three state legislative candidates.
