Newly Renovated Banner Thunderbird Medical Center Tour: An AIA Phoenix Metro AAH Event

All are welcome for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the expansion and renovation projects reshaping Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona. Presented by the AIA Phoenix Metro Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) Committee.

Led by the project team—including architects from Devenney Group, contractors from Okland Construction, and engineers from MBJ—this guided tour of the newly renovated emergency departments and the new Women & Infant Tower expansion will provide firsthand insight into the collaborative planning, design, and construction process behind this transformative healthcare modernization project.

The tour will begin promptly at 4:30PM. Attendees will receive 1.0 HSW LU from AIA.

This event is $10 for all AIA members (Architects, Associates and Allied). Non-members can attend for $25. Please register in advance as space is limited.

PPE will be required for this tour. Please wear closed-toed shoes (no heels, sandals) and long pants (no dresses or shorts). Bring your own safety vests, glasses and hard hats. There is a limited number of PPE at the construction trailer, so we encourage you to bring your own if you have it. *All attendees will also be asked to sign a vistor waiver prior to the tour.
