The statewide component AIA Arizona has an open call for members with interest in serving on the AIA Arizona board of directors:
- 2027 President-elect / 2028 President
- 2027 Secretary
- 2027 AIA10 Director
- 2027 Associates Director
- 2027 Allied Director
In addition, the following position representing AIA Arizona as an Associate at the AIA national level is open:
- 2027-2028 National Associates Committee (NAC/STAR) representative
To express interest in a role, by August 14:
- For all roles: please click here to write a brief statement expressing your interest. Why would you like to serve in the role that you are interested in?
- For president-elect only: submit a completed nominating form with at least 15 signatures of AIA Arizona members in good standing. Email Executive Director John Czarnecki to request the signature form.

Election process
After August 14, the Nominating Committee reviews individual written statements.
For President-elect:
- A ballot is issued by mid-September to the AIA Arizona membership for vote
- President-elect winner is announced prior to the AIA Arizona State Conference
For all other open positions noted above:
- The AIA Arizona board of directors will elect the person for each position
