AIA Arizona Committee on the Environment (COTE) Hike for Healing

All are welcome to attend the AIA Arizona Committee on the Environment (COTE) Hike for Healing event in partnership with Global Shapers Phoenix. Take action this Earth Month, join our trail cleanup to support environmental stewardship and personal well‑being as we highlight the importance of preservation and the work that makes it possible.

This guided hike and cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM, beginning at the 7th Ave Trailhead (2801 S 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003). Together, we’ll work to preserve the natural beauty of the Salt River while enjoying time outdoors with fellow volunteers.

What to Expect:

  • 7:45 AM – Arrival & check-in
  • 8:00–8:15 AM – Welcome and brief introduction
  • 8:15–9:45 AM – Guided hike and cleanup effort
  • 9:45–10:00 AM – Closing remarks

All cleanup supplies will be provided by Global Shapers Phoenix. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather. Camelback-style hydration packs are recommended to keep your hands free while collecting debris.

After the event, those interested are welcome to join Global Shapers Phoenix for a casual brunch nearby—an opportunity to continue conversations and connect with fellow participants.

All are welcome to attend. Please register in advance.
