July 10: Initial Deadline
July 21: Final Extended Deadline
November 15: Awards Gala at Heard Museum in Phoenix
The initial deadline is 11:59 p.m. Arizona time, Thursday, July 10, 2025. After that time, the portal remains open to accept entries, with a $60 additional fee for most all categories, until the extended final deadline at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The 2025 Design Awards Chair is Darren Petrucci, AIA. The jury chair and jurors will be announced soon.
Beginning this year, entrants in those three categories: Distinguished Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Unbuilt will be required to include project information for at least three of the 10 principles of the AIA Framework for Design Excellence.
