As the first free-standing building on the Great Lawn of State Farm Stadium, Heritage at Sportsman’s Park is a new public venue that will activate the emerging entertainment district outside of game days.
Masonry, steel and wood finishes create a traditional feel to this new pavilion within the trees on the Great Lawn, a popular pre-game tailgating destination for Arizona Cardinals fans. The three-story, 16,000 sf building provides view decks, restrooms, food and beverage services for Arizona Cardinals games, Fiesta Bowl, and other Stadium events, along with nongame day receptions and events.
The stair and elevator tower anchors the west side of the pavilion. It uses a mix of perforated masonry walls, metal screening, and specialty lighting to create a focal point for the facility. An outdoor garden provides additional seating, a small gazebo and a moveable perimeter fence to accommodate various events, including game-day tailgating and private functions.
