AIA Arizona Membership Categories & Descriptions
AIA Membership
Individual currently licensed to practice architecture in the U.S. Proof of current license must be furnished to complete membership processing. Licensed Architect Membership Application.
Associate AIA Membership
Individual on licensure track either in school or employed,
Participating in career responsibilities recognized by licensing authorities
as constituting credit toward licensure (intern), Under supervision of an architect
in a professional or technical capacity, A faculty member in a university program in
architecture, Hold a professional degree in architecture. Associate Membership Application.
Emeritus AIA Membership
An AIA member for 15 successive years and 70 years of age or, 60 years of age and fully retired or, incapacitated so as to be unable to work in the profession. Fees cover mailing costs only.
AIA Graduate Membership 2007 (FREE)
AIA Arizona extends a special offer to individuals who have graduated with a degree
in Architecture from an Accredited school of Architecture. Eligible individuals must provide a copy of their diploma with there application. This offer provides qualified
individuals up to 18 months of FREE membership at all three levels national, state and local. Graduate Membership Application
AIA Arizona Affiliate Membership
All those in a related professions and trades, but not holding an architectural degree nor on track for licensure. Affiliate Membership Application.

International Associate Membership
Individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in a country other than the United States are eligible to become an international associate AIA member. International associate members may use the Intl Assoc. AIA credential which recognizes them as individuals who are licensed to practice architecture in another country other than the United States. AIAStudents
Participate in events and programs organized by students on the undergraduate level. Your membership will provide you an immesurable amount of diverse opportunities. Lectures, field trips, social events, community service projects and conferences are some of the activities organized by the chapters. Learn more at www.aias.org.
