The AIA Arizona Photography Contest began in 2007 and was developed to show another side of creativity of all AIA Arizona members. The program is held annually during the spring. In the past, the submittals have been juried by photographers from Arizona Highways Magazine. Once the photos have been juried, the finalists are selected, printed, framed and displayed in the AIA Arizona Gallery during the summer and then auctioned off at the AIA Arizona Awards Gala. The top three photographs each year have won gift certificates to hotels/resorts across the state.
