Affiliates
An affiliate is someone that is in a related profession and/or trade, but not holding an architectural degree nor on track for licensure. Affiliate members are recognized on the state level, and have a voting representative on the AIA Arizona Board. One voting representative is also recognized my the Phoenix Metro Chapter Board. Affiliates are encouraged to be involved in state and chapter committees. To view the list of state committees click here.
All affiliate members are listed in our member directory that is only published in a hard copy format, but is sent out to all of our members annually. Affiliates, and their company contact information, are also listed on our website in alphabetical order by company name (see below).

Phoenix Metro (PMC) Affiliates:
Phoenix Metro Affiliates meet every first Thursday of the month at Noon in the AIA Arizona conference room. Any affiliate member is welcome to come or those who are interested in becoming a member. Southern Arizona Affiliates:
Southern Arizona Affiliates meet monthly at rotating locations on the last Wednesday of every month. This is an opportunity for affiliates to get to know other members and network with architects. Q. After submitting my application for membership, when should I expect my benefits to
take effect?
A. You are welcome to attend any program or event at the member rate once we have your application in hand. You will receive a new member information packet from AIA Arizona within 2-4 weeks of joining. It takes about 3 weeks to officially complete the membership joining process.
Q. Who should I contact to update my member record (address changes, etc)?
A. You should always contact your State component to change any of your personal information. Forward all changes to Charnissa Moore:
