AIA Arizona offers many events that are open for non-members to attend. Events such as our Survival 101 workshops, A.R.E. seminars and occasional lectures could be very beneficial to interns, administrative staff, marketing professionals, etc.

Grand Canyon Chapter Meeting - On Friday, February 12, 2010, the Grand Canyon Chapter presents Charlie Gohman, Manager, Arizona Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency Office. Mr. Gohman will present on making new and existing buildings more energy efficient. Meet at the Barking Frog restaurant in Sedona at Noon for this informative talk and lunch! LEA Architects - Lawrence Enyart, FAIA and Lance Enyart, AIA of LEA Architects received a National Concrete Masonry Association Design Excellence Honor Award in the category of top Commercial project in the U.S. and Canada for their Paradise Valley Fire Station 2 project.

CANstruction - On Feb. 19-20, 2010, the CANstruction competition will take place at Fiesta Mall. At the close of the exhibition, all of the canned food used to create the structures will be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.
